O film “Silvio”biopic of the presenter and businessman Silvio Santosreceived its first teaser this Tuesday (2). Rodrigo Faro, who returns to acting after 15 years, will be responsible for bringing the communicator to life.

“A trunk also holds many secrets. Get ready to discover the true story of one of the greatest presenters in the country”, says the synopsis announced by the distributor Image Films.

The direction is Marcelo Antunezwho worked on “Until Luck Do Us Part 3” (2015) and “Federal Police – The Law is for Everyone” (2017).

On his social networks, Faro commented about working on the project: “It was definitely the biggest challenge of my career! There were 40 days of filming, more than three hours of characterization per day, all of this recording simultaneously with my program”.

The cast also features names like Paulo Gorgulho, Johnnas Oliva, Vinícius Ricci, Felipe Castro, Marjorie Gerardi, Eduardo Reyes, Bruna Aiiso, Duda Mamberti, Lara Córdulla, Adriana Londoño It is Polliana Aleixo.

The film is scheduled to premiere on September 5th in Brazilian cinemas.

This is not the first time that Silvio has been represented in audiovisual productions. In 2022, the series “King of TV”, of Star+also chronicled the communicator’s life and career.
