Despite harsh opinions, Scott Stewart received permission to turn his film into a series just four years later, broadcast on the American TV channel Syfy.

Dominion is set 25 years after the apocalypse and achieved significantly better ratings. At the Rotten Tomatoesthe fantasy series has an average rating of 74%, managing to reach 13th place among the best end-of-time series in the United States.
