The Avengers and the X-Men are the two biggest teams in the Marvel Universe, which came out of the comics and were also quite successful on the silver screen.

While the Avengers already shine in the MCU, the two teams still cannot meet in a film, something that could soon change as the rights of the mutants returned to Marvel and soon the X-Men will also be part of this cinematic universe.

It’s even been some time since Cosmic Circus stated that Marvel is planning an adaptation of Avengers vs. X-Menthe arc in the comics in 2012. This film, however, could still take a long time to happen.

In any case, now the same website has brought a clue as to what the plot of this long-awaited film could be like, recalling the theme of Incursions presented in Doctor Strange in the Multiuverse of Madness. An Incursion is the clash between two different universes, usually caused when a character from another reality ends up spending a lot of time in a universe that is not theirs.

With that in mind, the site claims that a character who will be very prominent in Marvel’s future is Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), superheroine who at the end of The Marvels ends up being trapped in another reality, where the X-Men are an established team.

And that’s why the Cosmic Circus speculates that Monica Rambeau’s presence in this universe will cause an incursion between it and Earth-616, Monica’s original universe in which the Avengers are this beloved team.

Therefore, we could see an incursion between two very different universes, one where the X-Men are the main heroes, and another where the Avengers are the main team. And this incursion could lead to a clash between two groups, where each will try to save their universe.

After marking cinema history with Avengers: Endgame, the next Earth’s Mightiest Heroes film will be Avengers: Kang Dynasty!

The film was announced at San Diego Comic Con 2022 as one of the highlights of PHASE 6 of the MCU, alongside Avengers: Secret Wars! The film has a confirmed release date in Brazilian cinemas for April 30, 2026.

Jonathan Majors, obviously, was confirmed in the film as the villain Kang the Conqueror! But after he was found guilty in a trial for harassment and assault, Marvel Studios dropped him from the role. As a result, it is uncertain whether we will have the villain’s presence in the film.
