Kristen Stewart is in the midst of releasing her new film, Love Lies Bleeding. But her time in Twilight keeps being brought up.

In a recent interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast (via ComicBook), the Bella Swan actress offered her candid take on the relationship at the heart of the vampire and werewolf saga, arguing that she would have dumped Edward (Robert Pattinson).

“Yes, but he was trying to control whether or not she made choices for herself,” Stewart argued.

“I would have broken up with him immediately… I mean, if I said, ‘Hey, I want to try this,’ and he said, ‘No, this is just for me,’ I would say, ‘Well, this is just for me, too. My whole life. Without you’”, continued the actress.
