The warm-up for the Tocantins Agricultural Technology Fair (Agrotins) begins this Thursday (9). The opening will feature shows by singers Dorgival Dantas and the duos Humberto and Ronaldo and Di Paullo & Paulino. The event will be held next week, between the 14th and 18th.
The shows start at 7pm, in the parking lot of the Ginásio Ayrton Senna, in Jardim Aureny II, in Palmas. Anyone going to enjoy the attractions can bring 1kg of non-perishable food. According to the state, this year a social action will be carried out to collect food that will be sent to victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
The theme of the fair this year is Bioeconomy. According to the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Livestock (Seagro), more than 200 thousand visitors are expected and approximately R$3 billion in business will be carried out.
This year, a space of 400 thousand square meters will be used. The presence of exhibitors is expected to increase by 30% this year, according to the government.
The novelty of the 24th edition is the restructuring of the lakefront, which will have areas for visitors. The program will include lectures and workshops focused on technologies for small producers, as well as credit line financing incentives.
Visitors will also be able to see the exhibition with more animals, including horses and cattle, beef and dairy cattle. In agriculture, there will be stands selling soybean seeds, corn, rice, beans, sorghum and other grains.
