Bolsonaro’s PL and Lira’s PP command ‘destruction package’

The projects are not “isolated actions”, but rather lobbying.

At least two of these 25 projects are to end funding from Ibama, which is one of the main environmental inspection bodies. There is a fee, which is used to help finance Ibama. Jerônimo Goergen, a deputy from Rio Grande do Sul, is obsessed with ending Ibama. He has a project that completely empties Ibama’s functions and coffers.

In addition to changing the law to make the rules more flexible, make them more lenient, make life easier for destroyers and people who grab the land, there are a lot of projects to legalize the land grabs.

These are not isolated actions by people, this is a platform. A lobby project, far beyond the agribusiness lobby. There is a big business behind the illegal occupation of land in the Amazon, it is a big business.

The lobby is “sponsored” by the PL and PP, not counting a few other parties.

These guys represent this lobby […] Those who are sponsoring this institutionally are Arthur Lira’s PP and Bolsonaro’s PL. The two parties are responsible for authoring and reporting these projects. Together, they have more than half of this ‘Package of Destruction’.
