Those interested in participating as an exhibitor at the 62nd Festa do Boi, which will be held from October 11th to 19th this year, can now check the rules in the notice published by the Government of Rio Grande do Norte this Wednesday (8). According to the publication, registrations for cattle rings, horses, goats and sheep, in addition to the acquisition of pens, can be made until September 30th. The time to carry out the procedure is from 8am to 12pm in the morning and from 2pm to 5pm in the afternoon. The end of registrations can be brought forward, as long as the capacity of the Exhibition Park, in Parnamirim, is filled.

Following the rules, each exhibitor can register a maximum of 15 animals per breed. The registration fee also varies depending on the animal and can be seen at the end of this news. In addition to this, selectors who register ring animals are aware that they will have to participate in the judging ring with at least 50% of their registered animals.

Animals that prove to be wild, upon arrival or during the exhibition, will be excluded from the Festa do Boi, with their owner or agent being obliged to remove them as soon as they are notified of the occurrence. In relation to the distribution of cattle in the rings, the number of animals per breed exhibited and in order of payment by exhibitors will be taken into account.

Corrals

The “Coréia” corrals, with capacity for 25 animals, will be sold at a price of R$800, without providing forage for the animals. Payment must be made by September 30, 2024. As of October 1, the amount will be R$1,000. Occupation is limited to animals of the bovine species

Parking

According to the publication, the special parking areas, outside the exhibition grounds, will be reserved for paying members of the North-Rio Grandense Association of Breeders (ANORC), North-Riograndense Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders (ANCOC), Association Norteriograndense from Quarter Horse breeders (ANQM) and NUCCPERN; Exhibitors; Employees of SAPE and its affiliates, the Agricultural Defense and Inspection Institute (IDIARN), the State Agricultural Research Company (EMPARN) and CEASA, duly accredited.

Check the registration fee per animal:

Argola beef: R$ 200.00 (two hundred reais) will be charged per animal, including the supply of fodder for the animal. Members in compliance with ANORC who register and pay by September 30, 2024 will pay the amount of R$ 180.00 (one hundred and eighty reais) and when made from October 1, 2024, they will pay the amount R$ 200.00 (two hundred reais);

Pure Equine of Origin: You will be charged R$ 235.00 (two hundred and thirty-five reais) per animal;

Pony: R$ 235.00 (two hundred and thirty-five reais) will be charged per stall and limited to up to 03 (three) animals per stall;

Goats and Sheep: You will be charged R$600.00 (six hundred reais) per mini box;1.15.

  • For animals destined for the dairy tournament: a fee of R$ 180.00 (one hundred and eighty reais) will be charged per animal, with the supply of fodder for the animal. Members in compliance with ANORC who register and pay by September 30, 2024, will pay the amount of R$ 180.00 and when made from October 1, 2024, they will pay the amount of R$ 200 .00.
  • For members, in compliance with the ANORC treasury, and sister associations, up to 03 (three) animals per breeder are allowed;
