For those who were enjoying the heat, the sunny days are about to end. Despite the sun in the morning, Santa Catarina’s Civil Defense predicts the return of rain from this Wednesday (8), due to the arrival of a cold front coming from Rio Grande do Sul.

According to meteorologist Piter Scheuer, in the West and Serra regions of the State, clouds will increase throughout the day, potentially causing rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
Cold front brings winds of up to 65 km/h
Civil Defense also warns of a low to moderate risk of roofing, falling trees, flash floods and flooding.
The phenomenon occurs due to the expected intense winds, with gusts of up to 65 km/h, predominating in the North and turning south at night in areas close to Rio Grande do Sul.
Temperatures during Wednesday
Temperatures will be between 12°C and 19°C in the highlands and Greater Florianópolis, while in other regions they will vary between 18°C and 25°C.
The maximum temperatures will range between 22°C in the highest points of the State and 26°C and 34°C in other areas of Santa Catarina.”
