The Single Social Security Fund of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Rioprevidência) published in the Official Gazette (pages 44 to 52) this Tuesday (07/05), a nominal list of around 3 thousand pensioners, birthdays in March, who They failed to complete the 2023/2024 Mandatory Census by the deadline, 04/30/2024. To avoid cutting the benefit, pensioners must, as soon as possible, regularize the situation by scheduling an appearance at any of the agency’s agencies or posts, through the website www.rioprevidencia.rj.gov.br or by calling 0800-285- 8191 (calls from a landline) and (21) 3850-3350 (calls from a landline or cell phone). Once the appointment has been made, the pensioner must appear on the defined date, time and place, with Identity documents (RG), CPF, electoral card and proof of recent residence.
Rioprevidência informs that military pensioners are only required to complete the census if they are associated with Rioprevidência, that is, those whose pension creators died by December 31, 2021.
More than a registration update, the census is a determination of Federal Law 10,887/04, which also allows periodic payroll audits, in addition to effective actuarial evaluation, reinforcing control and combating fraud and improper payments of social security benefits.
