Mother’s Day, celebrated on May 12th, is a special occasion to honor the “bosses” of the house. Nothing better than giving them a breakfast basket or even a special lunch. In Brasília, some restaurants are preparing to offer memorable gastronomic experiences for this special date, from breakfast to dinner. There are different options to pamper moms next Sunday.

Known for his noble cuts roasted in a parrilla, Pobre Juan created an exclusive menu for the occasion, ideal for sharing with the family. The menu, available only on May 12th, starts with the Grilled Pear Salad topped with orange sauce – with a mix of leaves, almonds and Parmesan cheese; followed by Gran Ancho accompanied by Special Farofa with bacon, almonds and banana, in addition to Roasted cauliflower gratin with béchamel sauce. To finish, the chocolate pie served with vanilla ice cream, berry sauce and crunchy farofinha. For families who wish to enjoy the experience, the full menu for two people will be available for R$364. Cloud Café
Famous for its various macarons, Nube Café also prepared a special menu for Mother’s Day, offering baskets for all tastes. Among the available options, the Torre na Caixa (R$ 298) stands out, which comes with 40 macarons with the possibility of choosing between 21 flavors, 8 of which are decorated in a personalized way. Another alternative is Café Petit (R$ 195), a basket full of various delicacies, including macarons, croissants, juice, cookies, chocolates, among others. Furthermore, there is the option of the Floral Box, costing R$165, which contains 16 macarons and a beautiful flower arrangement.
In addition, the establishment offers the Blister 5 Macarons (R$35), with traditional flavors, and several souvenirs available, with prices ranging from R$11 to R$67. All orders must be made via WhatsApp, in advance minimum of 48 hours. Deliveries will be made from Monday to Saturday, from 10am. Especially on Sunday, May 12th, deliveries will be made from 8 am to 10 am, without the possibility of scheduling.
Benita Paninoteca
Now, Benita Paninoteca, located at 402 Sul, has just launched two irresistible options: the breakfast basket and the antipasti basket, now available for sale. Benita’s breakfast basket (R$320) was assembled with a selection of fresh and tasty items, from a tin of Benita biscuits to sandwiches such as burrata and roasted tomatoes on focaccia and basil pesto. If mom is passionate about a good conversation accompanied by sophisticated flavors, the antipasti basket (R$ 240) is the ideal choice, the items included range from delicious olive bread to antipasto with eggplant and peppers.
In addition to the baskets, Benita brings a special menu for the date
dish options to share for up to 4 people, such as Potato Gnocchi with Veracruzana Cod (R$ 250) or Ravioli Caprese (buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and basil pesto for R$ 200). In addition, the house also offers a box of dreams filled with vanilla bean pastry cream (R$50). Orders can be placed via Whatsapp at least 48 hours in advance, until May 10th.
Practice
Traditional buffet at 716 Norte, Praticitá will also offer a special menu. The restaurant is not open on Sundays, therefore, Mother’s Day lunch will be offered on Saturday, May 11th, from 12pm to 3pm. A kg of meal costs R$94.50.
The restaurant will have more than 30 buffet options, with highlights including Portuguese-style cod, parmigiana-style rump bonbon, roasted ham, roasted sea bass in coconut crust with coconut milk and spinach sauce, complete feijoada, fruit rice sea, conchiglione stuffed with ricotta in lemon sauce, curd cheese skewers with guava paste, zucchini cannelloni and even eggplant chips. Madô Burger
For those looking to escape the conventional, the suggestion is Madô Burger, which offers several snack options to celebrate Mother’s Day. How about finishing Sunday with a delicious combo from Kentucky? Made with toasted brioche bread, chicken burger, special sauce, red onion, pickles, catupiry, lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayonnaise, the sandwich is accompanied by fries and a drink. The combo costs R$58.70.
Another highlight of the burger is the Miami, which is made with toasted brioche bread, grilled onion, burger, double cheddar, Catupiry, bacon and mayonnaise. The combo costs R$56.70 and also includes fries and a drink.
