Continuing negotiations with representatives of Public Security careers, the Mixed Labor Committee, chaired by the Secretary of State for Administration (Sead), Lucivanda Nunes, began this Tuesday, 7th, the third round of meetings with unions and associations. The discussions are at an advanced stage and aim to be concluded by the end of May.

In this new stage, the Joint Working Committee is devoting special attention to the careful evaluation of the different scenarios presented during the negotiations. With the aim of finding solutions that meet career demands, without compromising the financial health of the State, the impacts and possibilities for meeting demands are being analyzed. This thorough analysis aims to ensure that the decisions made are based on concrete data and effectively contribute to the appreciation of professionals and the strengthening of services provided to the population.

“Clear and effective communication is the primary factor in these discussions. This is a crucial point that we must prioritize, understanding that we are building a path based on transparent dialogue and the search for consensus. We believe that only through collaboration and mutual understanding will we be able to achieve significant and lasting results to strengthen Public Security careers”, details Secretary Lucivanda Nunes.

The president of the Civil Police Union of the State of Sergipe (Sinpol), Jean Rezende, explains that he seeks, through negotiations, to restructure his career, and highlights that the matter has been treated objectively by the State Government. “Sinpol Sergipe’s feeling is that this construction is being treated very objectively and that the governor of the State of Sergipe, Fábio Mitidieri, remains willing to consider us with career restructuring. This construction process is still ongoing, but we will have other updates very soon, at the next meeting.”

The president of the Association of Police Delegates of the State of Sergipe (Adepol), delegate Renata Aboim, highlights that the dialogue reinforces the appreciation of professionals in the area. “The decision to form the Mixed Work Committee to enhance the security forces demonstrates the State Government’s recognition of the work being carried out by the Police in Sergipe, which today is considered the safest state in the country”.

The vice-president of the Integrated Association of Public Security Women in Sergipe (Asimusep-SE), Elisângela Bonifácio, highlights that the negotiations represent a historic moment for members of the careers and institutions. “We are taking forward not only our demands, but the desires of our colleagues and our families. The work is being carried out very well by the department managers, together with the entire technical team, accepting demands very seriously and with concern for the negotiations”.
