Agreement has already been signed and, according to the senator’s advisors, resources are already in MS’s coffers
The senator from Mato Grosso do Sul, Soraya Thronicke, guaranteed a contribution of more than R$10.5 million for the state government to acquire mobile health units and hospital equipment.
According to the parliamentarian’s advice, the financial resource will optimize the health sector of Três Lagoas, Dourados, Paranaíba, Deodápolis, Paraíso das Águas, Amambaí, Antônio João, Aquidauana, Bela Vista, Corumbá, Itaquiraí, Ladário, Ponta Porã, Porto Murtinho, Rochedo and Sonora.

The resource will be used to expand healthcare services in 16 cities in Mato Grosso do Sul
The amount refers to an agreement agreed upon by the senator to structure specialized care units in the State. According to information from Soraya’s office, the resource should be used to purchase 12 ambulances, equipment for the surgical center, instruments for the Neonatal ICU and hospital equipment necessary for use in medium and high complexity healthcare units. The expectation is that the resource will expand health care for 900,000 residents offered through municipal public hospitals.
