Five hotels in Alagoas enter the ranking of the best in the country

Alagoas had five hotels voted the best in Brazil and one of them appears on the list of the best in the world. The prize Traveller’s Choicefrom the website TripAdvisorreleased the list of hotels and resorts chosen by travelers from all over the world in the last 12 months.

The Salinas Maragogi All Inclusive Resort, located in Maragogi, was ranked 13th in the world – it is the only Brazilian one on the list – and was also voted the second best in the country. It was second only to the Colline de France hotel, located in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, which was also voted the best in the world.

The Brazilian list continues with Sallinas Maceió All Inclusive, in fifth place, and Verano Pajuçara by Tropicallis, in sixth place. Both are located in the capital of Alagoas.

Another Maceio hotel on the list is the Brisa Praia Hotel, which came in 11th place and the Ritz Lagoa da Anta hotel in 19th place.

Travel platform TripAdvisor annually honors travelers’ favorite destinations, restaurants, hotels and activities, according to ratings from platform users, over a 12-month period. The award is divided into two categories: “The best of the best”, which considers the quality and quantity of traveler reviews, and “Travellers’ Choice”, which recognizes businesses that always receive excellent reviews.

According to the Secretary of State for Tourism, Bárbara Braga, the presence of five Alagoas hotel projects among the best in the country in the awards, boosts Destination Alagoas at a national level, promoting the state’s hotel industry.

“The awarding of five hotels in our state is another great news. This demonstrates the structure and hotel quality that the Alagoas destination offers to our visitors. Awards like this are essential to value and enhance the hotel industry in Alagoas, as our hotel network has followed the development of the tourism sector in the state, strengthening tourism in Alagoas. Through these projects, more jobs and income are generated for our population, being an important part of the social transformation of our state”, he concluded.

The president of the Brazilian Association of the Hotel Industry in Alagoas (ABIH-AL), Gabriel Cedrim, stated that recognizing the quality of hotels in Alagoas is very important for the sector, which demonstrates the quality of services offered to tourists visiting the state .

“It is a great and important recognition for our hotel industry to see five hotels in the State among the 25 best in the country. Even more so as this award focuses on the quality of the service we offer to consumers. So it gives me great pride to see Alagoas hotels in this ranking, we reaffirm that our hotel industry has an exquisite, quality service and is ready to receive tourists from all over the world”, he stated.
