The 1st edition of the ‘Salvador Boat Show’ promises to boost nautical tourism in Bahia. The forecast is to present around 50 vessels of different models and styles between the 6th and 10th of November. In practice, Bahia Marina will be a showcase for a series of products and services and news involving leisure and water sports with the presence of big names in the sector.

According to the event organizers, around 10 thousand people are expected to gather over the 4 days of the event. “We really believe in the potential of nautical tourism in Salvador. It is an important segment for the municipality and for Bahia as a whole. Holding events like the Boat Show means inserting the city into the national and international nautical circuit. Adding nautical activities is also a way of generating income, jobs and more development for the municipality. We are very happy’, highlighted Salvador’s Secretary of Economic Development, Mila Scarton.

Francisco Brandão, from AZ Produções, a partner company of the Boat Show in Salvador, chosen by Grupo Náutica for its successful trajectory, provided news. “Most of the show will be on the water, it will be a beautiful structure in Bahia Marina with its many attractions and great restaurants.”
