The Government of Mato Grosso do Sul announced this Monday (6) that all schools in the State Network and units of the state security forces, such as the Military Police and the Military Fire Department, have become donation points for the victims of the flood in the Rio Grande do Sul.
The entire population of the state will be able to help the victims of the worst climate disaster in the history of Rio Grande do Sul with non-perishable food, hygiene and cleaning products, mineral water, bed and bath linen, as well as clothes and shoes in good condition.
The donation campaign “MS for Life, United for Rio Grande do Sul” comes into effect from this Tuesday (7) and is organized by the State Government, Sistema Fiems and Energisa, with support from Viação Cruzeiro do Sul and Vitlog Transportes.
“We require teams there and we will do everything we can to help. Now, I think a great chain of solidarity is important. We are mobilizing society, together with actors from the private sector, which is the ‘MS pela Vida, Unidos pelo Rio Grande do Sul’, a great campaign where every citizen of Mato Grosso do Sul who wants to can contribute”, stated the governor Eduardo Riedel.
