A new ranking of the 100 most influential companies in Brazil features three multinational companies based in Santa Catarina that are leaders in their sectors in the Brazilian market. The new study is a partnership between Veja Negócios and the Business Leaders Group (Lide).

The new publication highlights 60 leading companies in their sectors, 20 considered most innovative at the moment and 20 “Titans”. The group of sector leaders includes BRF, Engie Brasil Energia and WEG from Santa Catarina.

To prepare the ranking, the following criteria were considered: revenue, profitability, reputation, innovation, pioneering spirit, leadership and ESG policy. Engie’s president, Eduardo Sattamini, was in São Paulo on Monday, to receive the award. The event was also attended by the president of Lide Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, Delton Batista.
