A major aerial operation is being carried out by civil helicopters to rescue and support flood victims in Rio Grande do Sul.

In addition to helicopters from state agencies, civil aircraft are also involved in the search, rescue and supply operation, mainly belonging to businesspeople from Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.

These aircraft are operating in Vale do Taquari, Porto Alegre, Canoas and Bento Gonçalves, mainly transporting displaced people and supplies, such as clothes and food from donations.

  • PR-HAH – Leonardo AW109 from Lojas Havan;
  • PP-UUU – Leonardo AW109 from Lojas Havan;
  • PS-MSM – Robinson R66 private;
  • PS-HBM – Airbus H125 Esquilo from Helisul Táxi Aéreo;
  • PR-ISI – Airbus H120 Colibri from Group One;
  • PT-YJA – private Schweizer S300;
  • PP-PGT – Airbus H125 from Construtora Pasqualotto;
  • PR-SZV – Airbus H125 from Calçados Cartom with support from GERAR;
  • PR-MEK – Airbus AS365 Dauphin from Ambipar;
  • PT-YGS – Bell 206 from Magnum Metalúrgica;

There is still a Robinson R44 helicopter that is helping the victims but it has not yet been possible to determine its registration number.
