Project carries out blood and marrow donation actions in cities in ParaíbaRizemberg Felipe/Jornal da Paraíba/Arquivo A social project promoted by the company Isis is mobilizing, starting this Monday (6), the population of several cities in Paraíba, such as the capital João Pessoa, for the donation of blood and bone marrow. Founded in the city of Sousa, Sertão da Paraíba, the Mais Enilde project seeks to raise awareness in society about blood donation, carrying out actions in several municipalities. The action takes place annually, in the first week of May, in honor of Enilde Maria, who died after a liver transplant in 2015. At the time, several people mobilized in favor of donating blood for Enilde, which made her family continue the mobilization even after her death. Over the years the action grew, reaching surpassing the mark 560 donations in just one city, in 2022.
