A 34-year-old man was found dead inside his home, with several gunshot wounds, in the city of Feira de Santana, about 100 km from Salvador. The crime occurred early this Sunday morning (6) and so far, no suspect has been arrested.
According to the Military Police (PM), the victim was identified as Wallace Taixay Silva Oliveira, who lived on Rua Pindoretama, in the Papagaio neighborhood.
Teams went to the scene after being called by members of the public, who heard the sound of gunshots, and found the man with holes in his head, arms and back.
According to neighbors, Wallace worked as a delivery man and appeared to be a calm person. The Civil Police have no clues about the author or motivation of the crime.
Wallace’s body will be sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for an autopsy.
Another homicide in the city
On Saturday afternoon (4), at around 4:20 pm, Jean da Silva de Almeida, aged 40, was shot dead on Rua Grêmio, Campo Limpo neighborhood, also in Feira de Santana.
According to police, the victim was hit by several gunshots and did not resist. He died at the scene, even before rescue teams arrived.
The case was registered at the city’s Homicide Police Station (DH) and will be investigated. The Civil Police still do not have details about the author and motivation of the attack and there is no information about Jean’s burial.
