Two fights, two victories. Brazil started the season very well UFC 301, at Farmasi Arena, in Rio de Janeiro. In the second duel of the night, Ismael Bonfim, known as Muppet, beat Vinc Pichel by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
From the beginning, the Brazilian was far superior and dominated the fight from beginning to end, landing many more blows, dodging the American’s attacks and, above all, punishing his opponent’s face.
In the second round, a left punch left Pichel with a bruised eye and practically decided the fight. Not even the poke in the eye suffered stopped the Brazilian, who emerged victorious.
After the fight, he had a nice outburst in the octagon.
“I’m not going to lie to you. I was very scared. Last year was a very good year, but these guys know what I went through. Guys, I have a message for you: they judged me, they insulted me, but don’t let anyone say that you are capable. God wrote a beautiful story for your life, you just need to believe”, he said.
