Central Valquíria, from Sesc Flamengo, vented on social media this Saturday afternoon (4), and asked for help from her family who live in Rio Grande do Sul. According to the 29-year-old player, the heavy rains destroyed the residence and the beauty salon where her mother worked.

“Sorry for the lack of quality of the video, the nervousness, sorry for this appeal. But I’m coming here for MY FAMILY, who are currently sheltering in my father’s house, Aunt Tê. We are safe, but broken. My family’s home was DESTROYED, my mother’s beauty salon, which is in front of their house, WAS DESTROYED. THEY LOST EVERYTHING,” she wrote.

According to the Sesc Flamengo headquarters, his grandparents’ house was also hit by the storms in the south of the country.

“I can’t quantify in words what this pain is like, seeing my father with all the calm on the planet just saying “calm down, daughters, let’s get back on our feet”. GOD’S PEOPLE!”, she vented.

To alleviate the impacts of the rains, Valquíria’s family created an online fundraiser, with the aim of raising R$300,000. Interested parties can click here to make the donation.
