A Saveiro and a Fiesta were involved in an accident this Saturday morning (4), in the city of Ibirama, in Alto Vale do Itajaí, on SC-340, in Bairro Nova Estetin. According to the Ibirama Volunteer Firefighters, the driver of the Saveiro, a 21-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the Fiesta, a 40-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken, together with the man, to HDWC (Hospital Doutor Waldomiro Colautti), by the Volunteer Firefighters.
According to firefighters, the SC-340 was closed for around 40 minutes, after the collision, to remove the wreckage of the vehicles and treat the victims.
