The weather in Santa Catarina remains stable this Sunday (5), according to the State’s Civil Defense. But only between the South Plateau and the South Coast are there conditions for isolated rain with some thunderstorms.

According to the agency, it is hot in the afternoon, with maximum temperatures between 24 and 28ºC in Planalto Sul, and fluctuating close to 30ºC in other regions.
What is the weather like this week?
Due to the arrival of warm air from central Brazil, the week begins with firm weather. According to Civil Defense, this Monday (6), minimum temperatures vary between 12 and 15°C in the highlands and Midwest and between 16 and 21°C in other regions.
In the afternoon, highs fluctuate around 30°C in most regions and between 24 and 28°C in the Southern Plateau.
On Tuesday (7), hot and dry air follows SC. The coast and nearby areas have more clouds and fog at dawn and later at night, but without signs of rain.
Temperatures rise in relation to previous days and the minimum temperatures in the morning range from 14 to 16°C in the highlands and Midwest and from 16 to 21°C in the rest of the state. In the afternoon, maximum temperatures reach 32°C in the Greater West and Coast and range from 26 to 29°C in other regions.
But from Wednesday (8), Civil Defense predicts a change in the weather due to the arrival of a cold front coming from Rio Grande do Sul, which causes an increase in clouds and conditions for rain and storms, starting in the border areas with RS and going to the other regions. But temperatures remain high.
