Inmet warns of rain with winds of up to 60km/h this weekend in Acre

The forecast for the weekend in Acre is intense rain, with winds that can reach speeds between 40km/h and 60km/h, which could last from Saturday (4) until Sunday (5), around 10 am. The information is from the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet)

The volume of rain should be around 20 and 30 millimeters per hour, and could reach 50 millimeters per day. The yellow alert indicates the potential for danger, however the agency states that the chances of electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges are low.

In case of strong winds, Inmet instructs not to stay under trees or park vehicles near transmission towers and billboards, not to use electronic devices that are plugged in and in case of other doubts, Civil Defense (199) and the Fire Department (193) can be called.
