Federation publishes detailed table of the Sul-Mato-Grossense Under-20 Championship

The Mato Grosso do Sul Football Federation (FFMS) adjusted the table for the Sul-Mato-Grossense Under-20 Championship. The competition has the first round of the group stage at the beginning of June and the title decision is scheduled for the 10th and 17th of August. The finalists must represent Mato Grosso do Sul in the Copa São Paulo de Juniores in January 2025.

The competition would have 13 clubs, but with the withdrawal of Maracaju AC, the remaining twelve were divided into three groups of four each. In the first phase, they face each other in turn and return. The best two and, based on the technical index, the two best among the three third-placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals. Afterwards, the competition has round-trip knockout matches until the final stage.

Among the participants, four teams from Campo Grande (Comercial, Portuguesa, EC Campo Grande and the current champion, União ABC), two from Dourados (Dourados AC and CD Sete de Setembro), Aquidauanense, Corumbaense, Operário Caarapoense, Ivinhema and São Gabriel .

In the first round, six games in the first weekend of June. On Saturday, the 1st, all games take place at 3pm. In Group A, at the Noroeste Stadium, Aquidauanense and Corumbaense play. In Group B, Ivinhema and Sete de Setembro face each other at the Saraivão Stadium and Operário AC and DAC at the Carecão Stadium. In Group C, São Gabriel and Novo play at the Municipal Stadium and União ABC against Campo Grande at the Olho do Furacão Stadium.

On Sunday (2), the only match takes place at the Olho do Furacão Stadium, at 3pm, between Portuguesa and Comercial.
