The population of Campina Grande and the region receives services at the “Services Fair: Here’s More Health”

The State Department of Health (SES) held this Saturday (4) the second consecutive day of the “Services Fair: Aqui Tem Mais Saúde”, within “Cidadania Democrática”, an event promoted by the Government of Paraíba with the aim of bringing several services to the population during the days in which the plenary sessions of the State Democratic Budget will be held. The fair took place at Sesc, on the banks of Açude Velho, in Campina Grande, from 8am to 2pm, for residents of the city and region. The first day of the Fair was this Friday (3), in Cuité, where more than 850 appointments were made.

The action was recognized by the population as a great time to use services that they do not have time to access on a daily basis. Self-employed worker Kauan Victor left home this Saturday (4) morning, very well accompanied by Amora, his dog. The commitment was extremely important for both of them. He took her to be castrated in the castrammobile. Kauan was very happy to have managed to have his pet castrated. “My girlfriend had already managed to neuter her dog and now it’s Amora’s turn. If I were to do this procedure in a private service, it would cost R$600.00 and here it was done for free. Too good!” he declared.

Bricklayer’s assistant Edmílson Gomes, 30 years old, took advantage of the fair to donate blood to his father-in-law who is going to have surgery. “I confess that I was afraid of donating and getting sick, but it was so peaceful that I will continue donating,” he said.

The vice-governor of Paraíba, Lucas Ribeiro, visited the fair and used the health services offered by the Physiotherapy team at the Campina Grande Trauma Hospital. “This moment is very important when services from various public bodies are offered, before the ODE plenary sessions, where the State Government and society come together and both win, as the main focus is to discuss investment actions and priorities throughout the state. “, he spoke.

The Secretary of State for Health, Jhony Bezerra, also a visitor to the fair, highlighted the importance of this offer of health services, also taking advantage of the opportunity to get the flu vaccine. “The Fair is a time for the citizen of Paraíba to use the various health services available at the event and which are already routinely offered, along with the great news that is the castrammobile, a service recently launched by the State Government and which is already a success. , as well as Opera Paraíba, Vacina Mais Paraíba. The event is also a way to speed up the progress of specialized services, remembering that the flows remain the same”, he reinforced.

In the case of Opera Paraíba, the action does not exclude the usual flow, which takes place by completing a registration form at the USFs of the Municipal Health Departments. The form is sent to the SES, which carries out the survey and directs patients accordingly. with the location to the nearest regional hospital.
