The Electoral Registry Offices in Alagoas are operating on a shift basis this weekend. O deadline for voters to resolve pending issues or obtain their voter registration card ends on Wednesday (8).
This Saturday (4) and Sunday (5) opening hours are from 8am to 2pm. Inside, voters can go to the electoral office in their city. In Maceió, people must go to the Electoral Forum.
Voters who:
- Do you want to apply for voter registration?
- Do you want to transfer your home?
- Need to regularize canceled title
- Do you need to make any changes to your registration
“We are making a joint effort to benefit people from Alagoas who need Electoral Justice services, expanding opening hours on weekdays and opening them on weekends and holidays. The voter who left it for the last few days took the risk of facing queues and waiting, as happens historically”, explained judge Alcides Gusmão da Silva, vice-president and inspector, acting at the Regional Electoral Court of Alagoas (TRE/AL).
In 2024, voting will be for the positions of mayor, vice-mayor and councilor. The first round will take place on October 6th. The second round will take place on October 27th, where necessary, to choose a mayor in municipalities with more than 200 thousand voters.
Service during the week
During the week, service at electoral offices of the interior is from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. In Maceió Opening hours are from 8am to 5pm at the Gruta Electoral Forum and at the Mangabeiras Centrals (Maceió Shopping) and Benedito Bentes.
To request any service, the voter must present:
- Official document with photo
- Proof of address. For home transfers, proof must be from the last 3 months.
