With a varied repertoire, the Nossa Música project, from the Acre Music School (Emac) will open space for performances by local artists. The forecast is for one show per month, starting this Friday (3) with a presentation by teachers who work at the school, starting at 6:30 pm in the Emac auditorium.
The project of the unit maintained by the State Department of Education, Culture and Sports (SEE) has tickets for R$10 and the resources will be used to pay the musicians and maintain equipment.
“Every month we will have artists who will perform here at the Acre Music School, and nothing better than starting with the institution’s own teachers, who, in addition to their daily work in the classroom, are also excellent musicians”, says the coordinator of the school, Afonso Portela.
In this first presentation, 15 teachers will perform MPB, Bossa Nova, rock, pop and instrumental music. Tickets cost R$10 and the funds will be used to pay the musicians and maintain equipment.
“We invite the population to attend the opening of the Nossa Música project, which in addition to encouraging and promoting artists from Acre, is a mechanism to remunerate musicians for the show presented and assist in the maintenance of our equipment and musical instruments”, adds the director.
