Balance: 13 people murdered in Pernambuco on Labor Day; two crimes were in Caruaru

The month of May began with violence in Pernambuco. They killed 13 people this Wednesday (01). This year, from January until now, there are 1,329 homicides in the State.

In Caruaru, two people were murdered on the Labor Day holiday. The first homicide took place in the late afternoon, in Sítio Paraíso, a rural area of ​​the municipality. Guilherme Rodrigo da Silva, 18 years old, was shot dead.

The second crime occurred at night, on Rua Antônio Menino, Centenário neighborhood. David Anderson Augusto Barbosa da Silva, known as “Japa”, 29 years old, was shot dead. A woman who passed by the scene was hit by one of the shots and taken to the Agreste Regional Hospital (HRA).

With these two homicides, the number of people murdered this year in Caruaru reached 43.

In Garanhuns, an ex-convict was murdered in the Aluísio Pinto neighborhood, on the banks of BR-424. Rian Henrique Santos Silva, 23 years old, was shot dead. He had several stints with the police.

In Sao Caetano, a homicide was also recorded. The son of former councilor Geraldo Ramos was shot and died in a private hospital in Caruaru. Gustavo José Pacheco Ramos, 33 years old, was at his father’s gas station when he was shot.
