Generalized fight is recorded in a match at the Minas Gerais School Games

A widespread fight was recorded during a futsal match valid for the Minas Gerais School Games (Jemg). The case happened in Divinópolis, last Friday (26).

In a statement, the Municipal Department of Sports and Youth (Semej) reported that, after a penalty was taken, players from the teams got into an argument and one of the students attacked another from the opposing team, creating widespread confusion involving athletes and some fans who invaded the court.

According to the note, the Semej team intervened quickly and controlled the situation. Then, the Military Police (PM) were called. “The referee interrupted the match and the players were removed from the Poliesportivo premises, with the presence of police officers. The Disciplinary Committee has not yet confirmed possible punishments”, informed the secretariat.
