The 35th SC Trade Show, which ended this Friday (26), was assessed by its organizers as “historic”. The footwear sector business round in Santa Catarina recorded an increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors, in the edition held at Expocentro, in Balneário Camboriú/SC.
The event brought together 100 exhibitors from production centers in five Brazilian states (Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Bahia), who presented new footwear and accessories collections for the spring-summer 2024/2025 season, to 3 thousand visitors (shopkeepers from all over Brazil and importers from Latin American countries).

“SC Trade is no longer just a fair for the footwear hub of São João Batista and the region, and is becoming a national fair. We are surprised by the volume of exhibitors in this edition and the number of customers who have visited us”, says Almir Manoel Atanázio dos Santos, president of the São João Batista Footwear Industry Union (Sincasjb), organizing entity of the SC Trade Show.

SC Trade Show will boost business in the second half of the year
Classifying the SC Trade Show as a “great thermometer for the sector”, the president of Sincasjb highlights the nature of the event as a business promoter. “We are satisfied with the results of this edition and we believe that it will boost the second half of the year in the footwear sector and contribute to the generation of jobs and income”, adds the director.
