Rio – Fighting cancer, Anderson Leonardo, 51 years old, lead singer of the group Molejo, has worsened in the last few hours and his health is considered very serious. The information was confirmed by the artist’s advisor to the DAY, this Friday morning. The singer and composer is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in the West Zone of Rio.
Anderson returned to the ICU on the 22nd. At the beginning of the week, a medical bulletin signed by the medical director of the hospital unit, Luiz Fernando Nogueira Simvoulidis, reported that there is no need for discharge. Recently, Buchecha and Compadre Washington used social media to ask for blood donations for the singer.
Anderson has been undergoing treatment for cancer in the inguinal (groin) region since 2022. Previously, at the end of March, he had already been hospitalized and spent four days in the ICU due to kidney failure. After being discharged, he returned to the hospital to receive immunotherapy and pain medication.
