Students from the State Education Network (REE) of Mato Grosso do Sul will be without classes from 04/30 until 05/05, due to the May 1st holiday, Labor Day, and also as a result of exclusive activities for teachers according to the State school calendar.
On Monday (29) there will be classes as normal, however, on the eve of the national holiday, Tuesday (30), schools will open their doors only to teachers, who meet in class councils, which are meetings to debate the class performance in the first two months, among other pedagogical issues.
Wednesday (01) is Labor Day, as already stated. On Thursday (02) and Friday (03), the 348 state schools will also be closed to students, because educators participate in a training day, that is, more meetings to discuss pedagogical practices that affect children’s learning and teenagers.
REE’s 188,000 students only return to the classrooms, therefore, on Monday, May 6th, six of them are off.
According to the school calendar, during this period students will be able to carry out complementary educational activities, that is, the famous tasks.
It is worth remembering that in the case of Nova Andradina, Tuesday (30) is also a public holiday. The date refers to the city’s anniversary. (*With information from Campo Grande News).
