No one matched all the dozens drawn in the last Mega-Sena contest, on Saturday night, the 4th, and the prize accumulated to R$37 million. But, by chance, if fans of Lost Had they played the numbers that made the character Hugo Hurley a millionaire, they would have at least taken the corner. This because five of the six numbers that came out in contest 2,720 of the Brazilian lottery were the same as those winning in the science fiction series.
The dozens drawn in Mega-Sena were: 08 – 15 – 16 – 23 – 42 – 43. In the series, which aired between 2004 and 2010, the ticket that awarded the character had the numbers 4 – 8 – 15 – 16 – 23 – 42.
Even though the maximum prize did not go to any lucky person, according to Caixa, 2,967 bets had five hits and won R$1,878.49 each. Another 6,884 tickets matched four dozen and received R$809.63 each.
In Lost, the scene in which the character Hugo Hurley becomes a millionaire with this sequence of numbers takes place in episode 18 of the first season, called Numbers.
