Currently, more than 125 thousand customers in the Metropolitan Region of Maceió accumulate debts on water and sewage bills with BRK Ambiental, which took over such services in 2021 for more than 1.5 million people from Alagoas.

The number includes both high debts that have been in place for a long time, and those with lower and more recent amounts, that is, with an overdue invoice. According to Serasa, default on basic accounts represents 22.67% of debts.

Given this scenario, BRK joined the Serasa Limpa Nome initiative, the largest negotiation platform in the country, in order to offer negotiations that include debts from the period between 10 days and five years of negative debt.

In total, more than 210 thousand BRK customers from six Brazilian states (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Alagoas, Maranhão and Tocantins) will be able to consult the updated value of their pending issues and payment conditions through the BRK app or website. Serasa.

Payment can be made in cash, via bank slip or Pix, but also in installments by credit card in up to 21 installments. To check more details about BRK’s debt negotiation at Serasa Limpa Nome, visit https://www.serasa.com.br/limpa-nome-online/parceiros/brk/
