The State Agency for the Regulation of Public Energy, Transport and Communications Services of Bahia (Agerba) announced, this Tuesday (7), an increase in the fare for the ferry-boat system, which crosses Salvador – Ilha de Itaparica. The change will come into effect on Wednesday (8).
According to Agerba, passengers, who until Tuesday pay R$ 6.50 on their ticket, between Monday and Friday, will pay R$ 6.60. On weekends, the price goes from R$8.40 to R$8.60.
Car drivers paid R$58.50 between Monday and Friday, and R$82.90 on weekends and holidays. With the increase, the values will be R$59.80 and R$84.70
