Labor judge Marcos Neves Fava, from the city’s 1st Labor Court, issued a request to suspend the activities of two stores belonging to one of the largest fast food chains in the world, Burger King, in the Conquista Sul and Boulevard shopping malls, in Vitória. da Conquista, in the southwest of Bahia.

The request was made by the Court due to the non-payment of labor debts of the company’s employees, in the amount of R$ 1.2 million. Activities in establishments were suspended on two alternate Fridays in March, with a public notice about the closure.

In addition to paying debts, the network was also notified to include the names of debtors for an indefinite period in the defaulter register (SerasaJud) and check the establishment’s credit card machines.
