Santa Catarina will play on May 25th, at the opening of the Santa Catarina Series B Championship

In 30 days, the Santa Catarina Series B 2024 Championship will begin. On the afternoon of this Thursday (25/04), the Santa Catarina Football Federation (FCF), through the Competitions Department, confirmed the opening match between Santa Catarina and Tubarão, which will be held on May 25th, at 3 pm hours, at the Alfredo João Krieck stadium, in Rio do Sul.

The rest of the first round is also defined, with all games on May 26th, at 3 pm. Metropolitano and Blumenau will face each other at the Genésio Ayres Marchetti stadium, in Ibirama. The clash between Juventus and Caravaggio will take place at João Marcatto. Camboriú and Guarani face each other at the Roberto Santos Garcia stadium. Atlético Catarinense and Carlos Renaux is scheduled to take place at the Dr. Mário Balsini stadium, in Criciúma.

In the first phase, the clubs will play each other in a single round. The first two advance directly to the semifinals. There will be an intermediate phase, with the third placed team facing the sixth and the fourth dueling with the fifth. The two teams that advance will meet the top two in the semi-final.

The first two in the final classification will guarantee their presence in the Santa Catarina football elite. The first four placed in the final classification will win a place in the Copa Santa Catarina 2025.
