To the DAYLena Tostes, Wagno’s considerate aunt, regretted the way the accident occurred.

“I knew the boy since he was little, a charming, affectionate boy and I was starting to enjoy his life, he worked as an Uber driver. The last time I saw him was when he brought me a basic food basket, saying that he would bring it every month and that it was a way of thanking God for everything in his life. Here everyone is shocked by what happened, such a stupid death”, he said.

The case happened last Saturday (20), around 3pm, near the Quebra-Mar Kiosk. Images show the moment when Wagno, riding at high speed in the direction of the waves, is thrown into the water after the jet ski turns upside down.

Shortly after the accident, firefighters began searching for the man. According to the corporation, the search is carried out by teams divided into boats, with the help of drones and helicopters.

Alerta Rio indicated, on Saturday, that the sea at Barra beach would be undertow, with waves exceeding 1.2m in height.
