Jacutinga participates in “Minas Travel Market”, a tourism fair in Belo Horizonte

The City of Jacutinga, through SEGOV and its Department of Tourism, participated in April in the MTM “Minas Travel Market, a Tourism Fair held in Belo Horizonte.

The Government Secretary, Newton José de Carvalho ”Niuzinho”, and the Tourism Coordinator, Odval Bertolassi, following the guidelines of Mayor Araujo and Vice-Mayor Toninho Roque, to develop tourism in all aspects and seek ways to do so. Last weekend, they participated in MTM – Minas Travel Market – a B2B event focused on intensifying the strengthening of partnerships, stimulating networking and catalyzing new strategic opportunities in the dynamic universe of tourism. Many caravans arrived in Belo Horizonte from different cities in Minas Gerais, as well as other states.

This was the first edition of MTM, the result of a partnership between Abav-MG and BBC Eventos, which also promotes BTM – Brazil Travel Market, at the Ceará Events Center, in Fortaleza. In the capital of Minas Gerais, the fair took place on the 26th and 27th of April, at Minascentro, and brought together an audience of over 2 thousand tourism professionals. The event replaces the old Minas Gerais Tourism Hall.

On this occasion, Secretary Niuzinho, on behalf of the current administration of Jacutinga, reinforced the invitation to the Secretary of Culture and Tourism of the State of Minas Gerais, Leônidas Oliveira, to participate in the 46th edition of Fest Malhas 2024, which this year takes place on the 30th from May to June 16th.

On this occasion, Jacutinga and its tourist attractions were widely publicized in the fair’s media, reinforcing the wonders and business opportunities that the city has to offer investors, visitors and tourists.

Jacutinga has been growing in recent years in such a way that it has become a reference in tourism throughout the region. Major events were held and investments were made with the aim of attracting tourists to discover the city’s tourist potential. Mayor Araujo and vice Toninho Roque have always given the attention and support necessary for tourism in Jacutinga to grow and develop more and more.
