The Brazilian Bar Association – Mato Grosso Section hosts, on May 17th, the Regional Symposium on Law and Agribusiness – Constitutional and Labor Challenges, with ministers Gilmar Mendes, from the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Guilherme Caputo Bastos, Douglas Rodrigues and Alexandre Ramos, from the Superior Labor Court (TST). The event offers special conditions to lawyers, who will have this opportunity to advance in this area of Agribusiness Law and discuss the subject with excellent jurists. “We will certainly have a high-level debate and it was important to bring this event within the OAB-MT, thus opening its doors to advocacy”, said the president of the section Gisela Cardoso.

The event is hosted by a university. One of the coordinators of the project, which takes the seminar to 10 agribusiness centers in the country, is the federal judge of the 4th region, Narciso Xavier. “Many of the ministers and other magistrates make decisions that have a very strong impact on the agribusiness. So, we thought of a way to be in direct contact with those who live this reality, listening mainly to lawyers about their pain and difficulties, so that they can return to their offices taking this life experience, this exchange of information and knowledge”, explains Xavier.

Ministers Caputo, Douglas Rodrigues and Alexandre Ramos also coordinate the project.
