Mayor Eduardo Paes (PSD), pre-candidate for re-election, has 42.6% of voting intentions in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, while federal deputy and also pre-candidate Alexandre Ramagem (PL) appears next, with 31 .2%, federal deputy Tarcísio Motta (Psol) appears with 12.7%. The data comes from the Atlas/CNN survey and was released this Wednesday (24).

Subsequently, the survey reveals that councilor Pedro Duarte (Novo) has 3.8% of voting intentions; followed by federal deputy Otoni de Paula (MDB) with 2.3%; state deputy Dani Balbi (PCdoB) appears with 1.3%; and federal deputy Marcelo Queiroz (PP) 0.5%. Blank and invalid votes total 3.1%. They don’t know, 2.4%.

In a possible second round, the survey shows Eduardo Paes leading both scenarios: both against Alexandre Ramagem (51% x 36.7%), and against Tarcísio Motta (50.3% x 21%).

The Atlas/CNN survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number RJ-00787/2024. 1,239 residents of the city of Rio de Janeiro were interviewed, through Random Digital Recruitment (Atlas RDR), between April 18th and 23rd. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points. The confidence level is 95%.
