Character improvement and development of leadership skills!
Arapiraca received, this Saturday (4), the edition of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), which in free translation means “Rotary Youth Leadership Awards”.
The event took place at the Tobacco Growers Club of Arapiraca, located in the Massaranduba neighborhood, and brought together young people aged between 14 and 26 for a special day full of information and entertainment.
Professor Ana Karla Messias, from the Municipal Department of Education, represented the department during the event.
For RYLA Internacional de Arapiraca, Arapiraca City Hall provided all institutional support, in addition to a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and transport for event participants.
President of the Rotary Club Arapiraca Centenário, Gizélia Chaves indicated that this was an event designed for young people in the municipality, so that they can share experiences to train future leaders.
“This is a Rotary International event created for young people. We are pleased to welcome our young Arapiraquenses today and be able to give them the opportunity to share experiences with other young leaders, speakers who are here to train them to also be future leaders”, pointed out the president.
