Businessman who created skyscraper empire in SC will receive Fiesc medal

Businessman Francisco Graciola, one of the founders and president of the advisory board of FG Empreendimentos, will be honored by the Federation of Industries of Santa Catarina (Fiesc) with the Order of Industrial Merit 2024 medal. The decoration is the highest honor in the industrial sector and recognizes founders or executives of industries that are a reference for Santa Catarina.

FG, which designs some of the largest residential buildings in Brazil and Latin America, in Balneário Camboriú, is among the main construction companies and developers in the country.

The president of Fiesc, Mario Cezar de Aguiar, says that, in addition to their prominence in the industry, those honored with the Order of Industrial Merit are people who stand out in the communities in which they operate.

– They are a reference not only for their economic relevance, but for their activism within the community, contributing to the social development of the State.

Francisco Graciola was born in the interior of Gaspar, and lived in the countryside, helping his family, until he was 14 years old, when he went to the city to work as a barber. He had a snack bar, a tailor shop, until he found his calling in construction. And he created a real empire.

In addition to Francisco Graciola, Assis Strasser, from GTS do Brasil, Heinz Engel, from the Condor Accordants Council, Henrique Deiss, from Têxtil Oeste, and Vera Olivo, from La Moda, receive the commendation. Industrialist Leonardo Fausto Zipf, president of Duas Rodas Industrial, from Jaraguá do Sul, with the Order of National Industrial Merit, awarded by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). The tributes will be presented on June 21st in an exclusive event for guests, at the FIESC headquarters, in Florianópolis.
