According to the Olhar Digital channel, in October last year, operator Claro offers public networks so that users can use the internet for free at more than 2.5 million points throughout Brazil.

The right to free and unlimited browsing for Claros customers is available for some specific plans, these being: Individual customers who have a Claro post plan with data packages above 500MB, Claro Broadband Individual customers with plans above 2GB, and customers with NET Virtua above 5 Mega.

1. Search the network
On your device (computer, cell phone or tablet), click on NET -CLARO-WIFI in the list of available Wi-Fi networks;
2. Log in

Claro Residencial customers must enter the CPF or CNPJ of the contract holder, while Claro mobile Prepaid, Post and Control customers must enter the Claro cell phone number with area code – and wait for a validation SMS from the operator.

And for non-customers?
The free connection for those who are not the operator’s customers has some limitations. The network is slower, with a maximum download of 5 megabytes, and it is necessary to watch advertising videos to gain access.

- Choose between connection options To connect for free, tap the “15 minutes” option.
- Watch the advertising videoClaro will offer a link to an advertising video, copy and paste the link into your browser to access the internet. According to the operator, the more videos you watch, the more free internet time you will have.
It is also worth mentioning that Claro offers four access packages for non-customers:
- Up to 15 minutes – free
- Up to 2 hours – R$ 4.90
- A whole day – R$ 9.90
- One week (seven days) – R$ 14.90
