Former secretary Jones Bosio is being held in the modular penitentiary in Osório (RS). He was arrested in Torres last Friday, the 19th.

According to the head of the Brusque District Criminal Court Registry Office, Cleide Klabunde, Jones’ transfer depends on negotiations, that is, agreements, between Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul for transportation.

“His arrest was to begin serving his sentence. Until he is transferred to Brusque, the sentence serving process will be transferred to Torres”, he states.

Prison and cities he was in

According to the Civil Police, Jones began living in the homes of friends and family, but did not stay in one place for more than a week.

He was arrested at an inn when he was going to a beach in the region. The newspaper The Municipality found out from the police that the former secretary went through at least three cities.

One of them was Itajaí, a municipality where the police even carried out a operation to find him. Afterwards, Jones returned to Brusque for a weekend.

Afterwards, he went to Rio Grande do Sul. In the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Jones was in Tramandaí and Torres.

According to what was learned from the police, the former secretary may have visited more cities, as he did not stay at a single address for a long period of time.

He was sentenced to prison for passive corruption, and did not present himself at the police station after being summoned, thus being considered a fugitive.
