With runner-up in the state, Sergipe sought to strengthen the squad to compete in Series D of the Brazilian Championship. One of the new additions is striker Gilvan, formerly of Santa Cruz.
Already training with his teammates at João Hora de Oliveira, the center forward praised the group of players and explained his own characteristics.
– Very happy to have arrived here. I was very well received by my companions. I already feel comfortable and I saw that the group is united. I hope to be able to help a lot. I’m a box attacker, I finish well with both legs, I head well, I always try to retain the ball. I’m really a nine in the area – he said.
Having played in the third and fourth national divisions, Gilvan hopes to add experience in the search for access.
– I have a little experience in this championship, I was champion in 2021 with Aparecidense, I come from two Series C. I can add and help a lot during the championship – he concluded.
Gilvan has already been regularized in the CBF’s Daily Newsletter (BID) and is available to coach Marcelo Martelotte for his debut in Series D, against ASA.
