The Rede Minas journalism team covered a recent production chain, which activates the Minas Gerais economy and results in relaxing moments for Brazilians: the beer hub of Nova Lima. At the Planet Mines of this Thursday (4), at 10pmthis circuit enters the scene, in a panorama enriched with testimonies from producers, experts and a little about the history of the formation of this sector of the Minas Gerais economy.
In Mateus Leme, a city in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, the team visits a hop farm, the drink’s base ingredient, which recently was not produced here and had to be imported. Following the steps of the process, the edition presents the phenomenon of small producers, called Brew Pub, and also goes inside a factory, to monitor large-scale production.
