The population will be able to participate in the 2nd National Civil Registration Week from May 13th to 17th

Aiming to combat under-registration of births in the country, the National Council of Justice (CNJ) promotes, between the 13th and 17th of May, the 2nd National Civil Registration Week – “Register in partnership with the Federal Courts and State.

Action should expand access to basic civil documentation for all Brazilians, especially the population considered vulnerable, in compliance with security measures, asylum and prison situations and those released from prison, as well as the indigenous population.

During the event, civil registration officers for natural persons will respond to certificate requests arising from the project on a priority basis. The rest of the civil documentation (CPF and RG) will be issued, as well as inclusion in CadÚnico and other social benefits, in the states, by local internal affairs bodies.
