The pilgrimage routes to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora Divina Pastora, which pass along Highway SE-160, between the municipalities of Divina Pastora and Riachuelo, were changed due to the crater that formed on the road, according to information released by the Archdiocese of Aracaju this Wednesday (1st). The crater began to open on April 14, after rain fell in the state.
The starting point of the pilgrimages will be the São José Chapel, in the town of Bomfim. According to the statement, the change applies to the pilgrimage of the Legion of Mary and Pastoral do Acolhimento, on Sunday (5) and the Rosary of Men and Apostolate of Prayer, on the 19th.
According to a note from the State Department of Road Infrastructure, recovery works have not yet started.
